ipad looks great, but I am thinking of waiting for one of the 10.1 android tablets. Does anyone have any opinions on which tablet is best? Is it easy to read comics on the 9 inch ipad screen, or do you have to scroll a lot?

Reading on the iPad is great. The only time I needed to scroll was on splash pages.

My Ipad 2 just arrived on monday and in my opinion it is the best for reading comics and magazines.

Like Palin said you really only need to scroll if you are reading splash pages some may say that the xoom or the tab may be better but they are not my brother has the xoom and and my cousin has the tab they are great devices but they dont compare to the ipad. The biggest reason is that there isnt a good comic reader on android yet well atleast we havent found it yet.

But on the Ipad 2 or Ipad there are plenty I would reconmend ComicZeal or Comicbooklover.. Those are the 2 I use and they are great..

I actually have a 7 inch android tablet and the comics look amazing on it. I would recommend, if you don't feel like getting the ipad, an 8 inch android tablet because then it would fit the comics better. Whatever floats your boat

I use my iPad 2 with the Cloudreaders app. It's surprisingly good. But nowadays you can get a refurbished original iPad for pretty cheap. ^_^ :superman:

I am in the same boat and trying to decide which reader to go for. I think Ipad 2 is the one for me but I would like a usb or even an SD port. So I might shop around first.

Hi I'm new was thinking of getting a kindle and found out can't read comics. So aside from the Ipad what else can I buy? My thing is I have over 30GB on comics on my computer and want a a tablet to read them on. Any advice? And what tablets can I buy, besides the ipad. Will the Galaxy Tab work? :wolverine:

So far, my best experience is with the iPad. Can't comment about the Acer. Galaxy felt a bit too small.
