It's a mixed bag from fans. I liked it on the whole also, though some bits didn't float my boat as much as others. Much like watching the series at times. I would recommend it to fans and let them make their choice.

Mind you there is always the motion comic if you can't be arsed to read the whole series, if you can handle not having the original actors as voice talent.

I enjoyed Season 8... This new series though, I'm afraid I quit reading after the second issue...

I enjoyed S8 up to a point. The end of it left me a little "meh" though.
At least it was better than Angel: After The Fall.

Haven't started S9 yet.

The latest abortion issue felt very pointless.

I think Willow needs to stop playing second fiddle to Buffy. She is so much more than a sidekick and she could have her own series. I love Witches/Sorcerers/Mages Genre in Comics and in my honest Opinion: Willow surpasses them all in terms of Power and Character in my opinion. I would buy an entire series of Willow comics.

then you are missing out. i think how they are doing season 9 (including angel and faith and the upcoming limited series) is pretty enjoyable
