CK Radio!

Once upon a time, DTV had it's own internet radio station. It was pretty decent. Untill it died.

Now we are going to resurrect it! Merging it with CK and making it better than ever!! It will be bringing you a very eclectic mix of music, chat and news all by members of DedicatedTV and Comic Kingdom. Even more cool is that we want you to get involved!

To make this work we need as many people to get involved as possible. Let me know here if you're interested or have any questions, or you can send me a pm or even hop over to DTV and chat to bennelsworth or Pedro.

Your radio shows will be pre-recorded, allowing you to do it at your leisure and edit out any mistakes. You can put together a music show, talk show, news on a particular subject (i.e. comics, movies, TV shows, etc.), or just have a rant about whatever has been annoying you that week.

I recommend any of the TakeOver's done by myself, Pedro's Podcast, CrazedDoc's Remix Show and The Shizzcast. For an idea about stuff other than music then listen to any of jimmybob's ramblings or spottybutterfly's 'This Week...'

You guys are assholes. I had this idea way back and you shot it down. Granted DTV wasnt a part of it but still. Neway good luck to the radio and I'll check it out based on some of our members appearances on it.

There's no limits. Some talk spots only last 5 minutes, maybe 15, my music shows have lasted about 50 minutes in the past.

Anyone know of the best software for automating shows on time? On the old radio there was just a playlist playing in random, no structure to it... would be nice to say "Show ___" on at X PM etc :shrug:

That would be nice... I've heard of things called Icecast and Shoutcast, no idea if they do what you want but check them out.
