Fifth Avengers Title On The Way?

I may be reading too much into this but here's Joe Quesada's response to a question about why there's been no announcement of Dan Slott's Mighty Avengers getting a relaunch:

Buuuuut, I digress. So, I'm afraid it'd be premature to say anything just yet. But keep an eye peeled for upcoming announcements as we move forward.

So is there a fifth Slott written Avengers book on the way? Does anyone want another Avengers book on top of the already announced Adjectiveless, Secret, New New & Academy?

I don't. I thought post Heroic Age we'd be left with just the Avengers and Academy, which I was good with.

im not happy about New avengers. there is no need to have so many team when all the heroes are suppose to be getting along. i can understand Secret Avengers being an unknown team. they should just stick to the the one main Avengers.

Adjectiveless, Secret and Academy make sense to me. New New seems rather pointless when, as sleepneeded said, the heroes are all supposed to be on the same page now. A fifth title? I don't think there will be. Maybe Slott is just doing an arc or two, or maybe he'll do an Avengers event in 2011. If they did have another team, the only thing that could make sense is an International team...

I don't feel very good about this. I'm more of a proponent of going back to just one Avengers title and sticking with it. There are too many titles off of this imho and it just doesn't make a ton of sense to me. This has got to be the idea that giving anything the title of "Avengers" has a much higher chance of making it sell rather than giving it a unique name and background. I'm definitely going to have to be blown out of the water to read it.

Seriously, how would a unique name make it any different? The book would likely have them same content... with a different name.

You're probably right... I guess this is probably just me being tired of Avengers titles for now.

There already is a bimonthly YA mini coming later this year by the team of Heinberg & Cheung.

I know about that, but maybe Slott has his name down for an ongoing.

More plausible is he'll just do a mini titled 'New Avengers: Spider-Man'.

Lol.. that is true, but I could totally see him doing the Young Avengers justice; he handled the youngsters in Initiative well enough, and he did write some Young Avengers in Mighty...
