How many of the games have you played & finished?

I've only played X and X2. I beat X and X2 was so painfully awful that I had to stop. It was horrid. The gameplay and storyline were both terrible and then you get catnip and you can't ever lose. You just give it to Yuna and Trigger Happy away.

i played IV, V, VI, VII , VIII, IX, and XII. I think in terms of story, VII is the best.

The story in X was phenominal. The greatest video game story line ever in my not-so-expert opinion.

I've completed VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2 and Tactics Advance. I nearly completed Crystal Chronicles on the Cube in the past, I'm currently playing XII and I.

VII was the 1st I played and still one of my favourites, I do love X and VIII though.

Yeah, VII was the first FF I played too. Well I got caught by the story so I thought other FF titles are as good. I played other titles anyway.

VII was the only one i played and beat. I played other ones but VII is the one i put the most amount of time into.

VII and Crisis Core are the best imo, but incidently i never beat them as each ff7 linked game broke the console i was playing it on......i thnk the governments conspiring against me

matter of fact screw it this thread has inspired me to buy a copy from ebay, then one day ill be able to destroy safer sephiroth

I think that 8 is the best ff

ye it was good but the story wasnt near a strong, n though i thnk squall is in the top 10 of ff characters for me they based him too much on cloud for most of the game ie. a very good fighter who prefers to stay alone n only keeps to himself

Played ff V, VI, VII, IX, X, XII, Crisis Core, Tactics, and Dirge of Cerberus.
Overall my favorite was between X and Tactics.
Best in Gameplay had to be XII or Tactics.
Best plot hands down goes to Tactics.
Best characters would be a hard choice, each had good ones. Note worthy ones: Celes (VI), Cloud (VII), Zack (CC), Auron (X), Delita (Tactics), and Balthier (XII).
Best ending Crisis Core.
Games that are a must play IMHO: VII, X, XII, CC, and Tactics.
Games that should never have made the light of day: Dirge of Cerberus, and X-2

But X-2 had the magic of multiple endings!

X-2 wasn't that bad... I enjoyed it.

I've played a rom of 3, but I got bored of that one really quickly, VI, which crashed when I was at the part with the floating island, and I havent wanted to replace it since, IX, which is my favourite, and a demo of X, which I though was good, I was gonna get it when I got my own PS2, but I only hade enough at the time for one game, so I got kingdom hearts 2...
