Started 4/5 years ago I think. Comics shops get books to give away free to customers at their discretion to promote, well, comic books really.

Most of the big publishers now come out with FCBD exclusive books to generate interest in the next big crossover or event.

You're not getting my Blackest Night #0, I don't care if this is your site or not :)

What do you mean you're not my bitch...?

Shield, comic shops get them in. Not general newsagents though, depends where you can go.

So I can only get the comic books that are listed in the first post from a comic book shop for free?

I'm guessing shops will get a fair quantity in - more Gold than Silver though I'd think. My LCS also gives away old stock as well to customers, it's an easy way to shift non-sellers & possibly get a new customer hooked.

I'll be looking for Blackest Night, Resurrection, Aliens/Predator, Contract, TMNT.

Which ones are you after?
