I saw this when TNA was doing some thing with them and I love it and stuff what do you all think of this wrestling?
Here is the full match dated 10-20-1996 its The Great Muta Vs. Jushin Thunder Liger if it seems real quiet its cause japan has big respect for there wrestling and they try and stay silent I think thats right anyone can look it up for me to prove me wrong or right.

Haven't seen a lot of NJPW but you're right about the Japanese crowds - pretty subdued with lots of "Oooh"s and applause for the big moves & high spots.

Did you see the TNA vs NJPW show from earlier this year?

Yeah I did you know if TNA got some more NJPW wrestlers wrestling for them they could maybe beat WWE in rateings or something just cause since WWE got rid of there cruiserweight belt for another womens belt and TNA Still has the X-Division and I would love to see lots more popular NJPW wrestlers wrestle for TNA. Thats jsut something they could do.

It couldn't hurt. Think a few more of those TNA vs. NJPW shows might be a good way to start to get the Japanese wrestlers known to the casual audience. Then they could have some of the Japanese guys come across for say 6 month runs in TNA.

Yeah its good thinking I would sure love to see some NJPW wrestlers in america since the only way to watch NJPW is on youtube and you can only see older NJPW matches cause I wanna see more recent NJPW matches you know they should try to make NJPW global somehow like air on a channel in america I would love to see that.

It's not new but found this one online - classic match with Liger vs. Benoit from an WCW vs NJPW feud. Picture quality isn't great but a good match.

Code:
Starcade 1995 - Chris Benoit vs. Jushin "Thunder" Liger

I will check it out later so do you agree NJPW should become global wrestling brand?

Not sure what you mean by that.

If you mean should it be as big & widely recognised as WWE then no not really. It's still a comparatively small scale organisation with no huge international stars.

If you mean should it be known around the world then yes. And it already is pretty well respected in the wrestling community but not the casual fans.

Japanese wrestlers have only ever gotten over with US fans by playing monsters (Killer Khan, Great Kabuki, Great Muta to a certain extent although he also had high-flying on his side). Jap wrestlers have the tendency to bore fans to death, no matter how good they are, due to not being able to shoot promos. Think back to WCW bringing in Masahiro Chono and Yugi Namaguchi.

You know its interesting that NJPW allows TNA to use there belts in match like the IWGP tag titles which has been used in matches and so was the IWGP Heavyweight Championship when Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe were feuding and Kurt Angle had a whole bunch of belts at once.

IIRC TNA & NJPW have a formal talent sharing agreement in place. TNA guys appear on NJPW shows and vice versa. Makes sense that certain belts would switch sides from time to time to give more exposure to each other's fans.

Did anyone see Globabl Impact 2 when they were in Japan doing another show there? I was meaning to watch it but I completely forgot about it and didn't watch it and I was really looking forward to it.
