So I am trying to get my friends together to play some games every once and a while and was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions? Looking for some decent board games besides Axis and Allies or Risk.

Thanks

can't go wrong with Monopoly and Domino, right now those are the only games that come to mind that support more than two players.

Catan or Ticket to Ride, based on the x-box versions I've played are fun

Played a hell of a lot of Cosmic Encounter over the years, always good for a bit of fun.

I bought the WoW board game some time ago and I gotta tell you I LOVE it. Only get it if you're a RPG-type fan though.

Played the WoW game, was good fun but takes ages to set up and put away with all the counters, tokens & figures.

True. And It does take a while to get used to it. But it's still fun :)

For a game that more than two people can play you could give The Game Of Life a try. The game Stratego is pretty fun to play I used to play it with my mom when I was younger. But it's only two players I don't know if that would help.

Star wars risk is pretty decent if you are into that sort of thing. Also I would second Catan.
