What If they had not fucked around with any of Alan Moore's source material and been more faithful? (Not seen Watchmen yet, so I'll exclude that)
Would they have better movies, unfilmable or have gone down the mini-series route?

Even getting comic writers for a film doesn't mean it would work, look at Frank Miller as an example. I love his work within the comics, but his film screenplays have been below awful (Robocop 2 and 3, The Spirit).

I have hope for future comic book films because of the new Batman films, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and Watchmen, which have done well with non-comic fans and remained faithful to the comic books at the same time.

What if Ray had cleared his mind in Ghostbusters?

What if at the end of the Dark Knight, when he goes to drive away from the cops on his motorcycle, his motorcycle was replaced with a ham sandwich (there's a ham sandwich where his motorcycle used to be).

What if George Lucas made Star Wars: The Phantom Menace first and did the entire series sequentially? Would a second movie ever been made?

I can see it now: Puppet Watto and Puppet Jar Jar,
and the Duel on Theed being as sucky as ANH's Duel on the Death Star.
