Sweet! I'm excited for it. Had a mini-marathon today of a couple of first season episodes ... I mean, when you have Thai takeout for lunch it sort of has to be done. :D

Last weeks episode was hilarious, where Sheldon
Spoiler: show
broke into the arcade and Leonard had to go get him. Sheldon 'swam' through the ballpit and kept popping up saying
Bazinga

That was my FAVOURITE part of that episode! It was
Spoiler: show
the most limber I've ever seen of someone in a ball pit.

The ball pit episode was the first one I ever saw, and I was completely hooked. Bazinga! I've before never seen anyone that... skilled in the art of ball pit manoeuvring.

ASAP, I immediately 'acquired' the whole show to date, mainlined them over the course of a week, and now can't hear someone knock on a door three times without 'hearing' Sheldon say 'Penny?' (x3, of course. *g*)

I agree with you all on this being the funniest show on tv for a long time, and as for favourites, well:

Sheldon by far is my fave character(even though I can't understand half of his physics 'jokes' I have to laugh at his expressions and the way he says them)

But as for a favourite episode or part, there are way too many to name any single one

As ckhavens above stated I too acquired the entire 3 series and am seriously hoping for a continuation of this awesome show

BAZINGA!!

P.S has anybody else noticed how much this :harley: looks like Wolowitz from "The Codpiece Topology" episode?

this is probably my favourite sitcom of recent years, and sheldon is pretty much the only reason to watch it. however i definitely feel that the first season was better than the second.

That's just disturbing on so many levels. *twitches*

Sheldon's definitely integral to the show, but I also feel like the initial hilarity he came with has become watered down as the seasons go on (maybe just b/c I'm more used to him now?) and the other characters have been stepping up to the plate more ... it feels like they're equalizing the humour with the rest of the cast more. To me, anyway. But either way, I wouldn't watch it juuust cause of him ... Penny and Wolowitz also make it SO worthwhile 'cause, let's face it, Sheldon wouldn't be anywhere near as funny if it weren't for his interactions with and effects on other people ... aka the Penny/Sheldon moments and Wolowitz's scathing comments about/to him. Leonard and Raj have their moments/episodes, but on the whole they're not the forefront laugh suppliers for me.

Sigh. I love this show.

LOL ... an uncanny resemblance.

It seems that the show makes DC and Marvel have equal facetime. It was awesome to see them wearing DC super women in a loss bet. Earlier they had Stan Lee. Was there any other tv shows that cover a wide range of pulp culture?
