This is the second volume trade that reprints the issues 7-12 of the Amazing Spider-Girl series. The writing and penciling credits go to both Tom Defalco and Ron Frenz as the credit page lists them as having both jobs. The art was delicious on all 136 (slick) pages with great inking/coloring done as well. I didn't like her costume (prefer the Jessica Drew or even the Julia Carpenter versions). But to each their own.

I really don't understand why Marvel cannot write a series without the good guys fighting each other every few issues. But overall the plot encompasses some nice elements. May Parker's social life conflicting with her crime-fighting life, and also duty to family was a heavy element here. Special bad guy Carnage doesn't show up till halfway through the book but we got enough going until then to keep interest. Guest starring: Lady Falcon, Hobgoblin, Darkdevil, Kaine, Mr. Abnormal, Killerwatt, Earthshaker, Countess Allegra, Nick Fury, and of course Peter and Mary Jay Parker (with lil Ben).

Not a bad price for the book. Amazon lists it as $14 which is very reasonable for the quality of the pages, ink, and artwork.
