this series is a good fix in TPB form but as a monthly it's not very satisfying

Did anyone read issue 90? I literally just finished it and am SO unsure how I feel about the ending. I mean really,
Spoiler: show
Andrea and Rick together? Why does a guy-girl friendship ALWAYS have to lead to romance?

Got to admit I was left rather unsure about it too. The comic is a soap opera, though, so it'll lead to some new drama in the least.

Now we play the waiting game for issue 91 :P

From the cover, it looks like something sad is coming.

I have just started this series (after seeing the TV Show), and have so far read 5 issues, and loving it, a truly inspired read. I love the way that the writers focus on Human emotions and how normal people act in abnormal situations, rather than just blood & Gore.

Brilliant !!!

Makes sense to me, In that type of world you would kinda live for the moment.

I read it after watching the TV show. Read issues 1-69 over 3 days while I was at work...pretty moving stuff imo

I've read this series from nearly the beginning and it's never really let me down..
I'm okay with Andrea and Rick hooking up as they're both rather broken and need someone who has experienced the same horrors as they have. The citizens of the town are mostly too jaded about the dangers that they face outside of the town's walls, so I can't really see either character in a good relationship with one of them.

Starting watching the series with my wife (I know....scary that she enjoys this more than I do). Looking forward to seeing what it was meant to be seen (in comic form). I can't wait start reading from the start.

I feel that I should read these comics, one because they are highly acclaimed, and two because I am from Kentucky, I am actually from the town of Cynthiana, its where I graduated at last year, and I go to the University that Tony Moore(first artist) went to.

This series is what got me back into comics, it all started last Christmas when I received the compendium as a gift. I absolute love this comic and read through them as quick as they are delivered. They never disappoint. Also as a fan of the show I enjoy how the comics differ in many ways.

I started reading the comic a while ago, stopped for some reason then the show got me to read the entire series and then caused me to take out my comicbooks and start reading again.

I like the comicbook far more than the show, but the show isn't all that bad.

Started reading The Walking Dead back when it started (2003ish?). Collected the first four volumes but I realised I was disappointed that I was reeled in by the awesome artwork it started with, and then they changed the penciller.
Now I'm thinking I should try and get back into it. What do you guys think about the latest stuff? Is it as good as it was in the beginning?
