I really dislike Superman, because of the "swiss army knife" aspect, but also just because he's so...good. He's too predictable. At least with someone like Batman, he gets the job done, usually lets the bad guy live, but he still looks like a bad-ass in the process.
As far as Marvel goes...Captain America, I guess. Mostly just because I can't think of anyone I like less.

Not too sure on this. Usually depends on era and who wrote them. Black Panther tends to be a bore though.

Aside from not liking Namor, I have to agree with everything you said... especially not liking heroes because of their fans.

Superman is just such a blasted boyscout he annoys the crap outta me. Not crazy about Lobo either but more because he feels like a collection of outdated memes from the 90's. I wouldn't mind if Stephanie as Batgirl caught a bad one either – Cassandra was so superior. In Marvel land – I find myself consistently annoyed by the entire Fantastic Four. They feel out of touch and "elite among heroes" and I just don't think they're very good!

I mean, Cap. America is cool... but I don't know... maybe to less powers...

I think I would have to go with Superman because he ran out of formidable villains to fight with.

Superman. Mostly because he looks down on us with his smug small town attitude.

my least favorite would have to be Booster Gold, no particular reason but the character just annoys me

I like Superman. Believe it or not, he does have some interesting weaknesses (naive, manipulatable).

I miss his briefs dearly.


I don't like Captain America. I don't like how he went against his own government in the Civil War, it felt wrong to me. I also didn't like his film, I thought the first half was brilliant but then it went stupid Zack Snyder like fight scenes. The first half was believable but I just could not take him seriously as a character.

Wolverine. His coolness ran out around 1982 and since then, he's just been overused. Probably the only character I like less is Lobo, his DC rip-off.

To me there are no bad superheroes, just the writer can't connect the hero to the audience. but as far as least liked goes:

DC: Superman, the only story I have read I liked of supes was All-Star Superman, he reminds me too much of batman in the campy movie with Adam West, a missile is coming and he just so happens in his utility belt to have a bat-gadget frequency missile jammer ?!? really. But superman is the same way super strenth, super speed, flying, heat rays, see through vision, tough as nails etc., the list goes on, how do you really make him relatable or write a comic believable.

Marvel: Iron Man, I used to read him prior to the civil war, but since civil war and the death of capt, i dropped him, Marvel really villianized him imo. Bad move.
