Just figured it was implied, seeing as my post was about God Of War.

these kind of threads always make me feel kinda old. i'm a decidedly retro kinda gamer partly for price and partly because you can avoid some of the real stinkers. some of my personal faves include,

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain- its got a nice long story, great voice acting and the combat manages to stay fresh with a constant string of new spells and weapons to use.

Cybernator- A platformer with mechs. seems like these would be everywhere back in the day but this is the first one I've found and its also one of the best snes titles I've played based on controls alone.

Trog- sure its just a Pac-man clone but Pac-man never got to breath fire or punch a cave man in the face. if only it had more then one song on the nes version.

Flying Dragon- its a cute little fighter with grinding elements. may not sound like much but its one of those easy to play hard to learn games

and Kirby's adventure- I know there was a damn good remake a few years back but its just not the same (I dislike the hat thing personally). this was both the first game I got 100% on as well as the first game i pick up when I'm feeling blue.

I will agree that Blood Omen was pretty amazing. It was really a great attempt at bringing console gaming over to the PC. It probably wouldn't make my top 10, however.

Right now if I had to choose, It'd probably look something like:

10. Halo: Combat Evolved
9. Command and Conquer: Red Alert
8. Doom 2
7. Civilization 4
6. Starcraft
5. Mass Effect
4. Diablo 2
3. World of Warcraft
2. Master of Magic
1. Master of Orion 2

I came here today to explain the true and total consequences of your actions over the last several months. I'm guessing after today that would be unnecessary.
It's not every day that a human finds himself responsible for the death of a god and then on that very same day escapes facing another.
Surely fortune favors you, and the men I spared. Enjoy it.
But before you wash your hands of my father's blood, I would encourage you to reflect on what brought us to this point:
You sacrificed honor for expediency. You traded intent for quick action. You were wrong . . and we all suffered for it.
So do better now mortal man . . for if not I, then surely some god somewhere will someday find you wanting.
It would be a shame to wager your good fortune with folly.

The God of Fear.
Son of War. '

Since I only recently bought it, I have to add Mass Effect to my list. Possibly, when I get around to buy it, Mass Effect 2 will be added to (at least, based on what I've seen so far).
